The rich history and culture of the Argyle district are woven into every element of our design for the new municipal administration building in Tusket, Nova Scotia. More than just a place of governance, this building was envisioned as a reflection of the community itself, a space where past and present meet, where people feel a sense of belonging.
Through deep engagement with the community, we carefully shaped the public spaces, ensuring they would serve as welcoming gathering places. Extensive research into the municipality’s history allowed us to infuse the design with meaningful symbols, subtle yet powerful reminders of the stories, traditions, and identity that define Argyle.
For the municipal staff, we created a workplace that feels both healthy and harmonious. Sunlit workstations provide quiet spaces for focused tasks, while flexible areas encourage collaboration and the natural flow of ideas. Every detail was considered to support both individual well-being and a shared sense of purpose, making the building not just a place of work, but a place that truly serves its people.
